Terms and Conditions
At MDDC we are VERY conscious about the importance of your time and money. Therefore, we believe it is important to be up-front about all of our refund and reschedule policies. When you book a dive with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.
48 Hour Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: You have until 48 hours ahead of the scheduled start time of your dive/boat trip/class to cancel or reschedule with no financial forfeitures (an exception would occur if we have provided you with academic materials you have already used; in that case, we would issue a refund less the used items and shipping costs). If you must cancel or reschedule inside of 48 hours prior to the start time of your scheduled dive/boat trip/class, you will forfeit all monies paid unless a replacement booking can be made.
Think of these reservations like concert tickets; if you can’t go, you either sell your tickets or you forfeit the money you paid for your tickets.
If you are booking for a group of divers, you will be financially responsible for all of the divers you are representing.
72 Hour Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: Our above policy remains the same but is extended from 48 to 72 hours between the dates of December 15 - January 5.
96 Hour Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: This time period is in effect for all Private Charter bookings.
Refund Policy (Course Bookings)
Because we limit our class size to only four students and we commit to you that one of those spaces is yours for the agreed upon dates, Maui Dreams will not issue a refund if you decide to discontinue your training for any reason.
Waiving the Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy will be waived if we receive a copy of a medical note from a local doctor for treatment/exam which must have taken place within 48 hours of check-in time of the missed dive. This does not waive a companion diver.
Cancellation Policy will be waived if divers miss the boat due to road closure or weather event that impacts the population at large.
Important Note: Has it been over two years since your last dive? Maui Dreams will require that you complete a refresher dive prior to your boat trip or hire a dive guide for your day out if you’ve been out of the water for over two years.
If a boat or shore dive is cancelled due to bad weather, we will offer to reschedule you if possible. Otherwise, we will provide a complete refund.
Refund Policy (Merchandise)
Refunds will be offered in instances where it is agreed that a new item is defective and cannot be repaired and at the discretion of Maui Dreams Dive Co. staff.
Maui Dreams will not issue a refund if you simply change your mind about something you bought; we will offer you a store credit for the value of the purchase price as long as the following conditions are met: The item must be returned in an as-new sale-able condition, complete with packaging and within 48 hours of purchasing.
